Retired, decorated, highly-trained CIA operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) picks out a karaoke machine for his daughter Kim’s (Maggie Grace) 17th birthday. At her party, Bryan’s present is upstaged by Kim’s wealthy step-father, Stuart (Xander Berkeley), who gives her a horse.
Later, Bryan’s friend and former CIA colleague, Sam (Leland Orser), convinces Bryan to accept a one-night job with him: bodyguards for the famous singer, Sheerah (Holly Valance). As Bryan escorts Sheerah from the arena, he fends off an armed attacker, earning her gratitude and a promise to help with Kim’s musical aspirations. He meets Kim for lunch the next day, only to discover that his ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen), is also there to help persuade Bryan to sign a parental consent form allowing Kim to go to Paris with her 19-year-old friend, Amanda (Katie Cassidy), who is visiting her relatives there. Bryan reluctantly agrees, insisting Kim call him immediately upon landing and every night thereafter. At the airport, Bryan learns that the girls actually plan to follow a U2 concert tour throughout Europe. Bryan is angry, but Lenore pressures him into letting Kim go.
They need to make this into a mini game!

Visiona 2
From the end of the Sixties to the mid-Seventies the chemical company Bayer rented a pleasure boat during every Cologne furniture fair and had it transformed into a temporary showroom by a well-known contemporary designer. The main aim was to promote various synthetics products in connection with home furnishings. Verner Panton was commissioned no less than twice to design this exhibition, entitled ‘Visiona’. The 1970 ‘Visona 2′ exhibition showed the Fantasy Landscape which was created in this environment. The resulting room installation consisting of vibrant colours and organic forms is one of the principal highlights of Panton’s work. In terms of design history this installation is regarded as one of the major spatial designs of the second half of the twentieth century.
The creative fireworks which Panton lit with his studio within a preparation time of only a few months for ‘Visiona 2′ is expressed not only in the highly diversified room designs in the exhibition ship, but also in the wide range of furniture, lighting, wall coverings and textiles developed specially for this presentation. Some of these were adapted and went into series production later.
This would be the um… Entertainment room in the dream house!
Along with the sink and windows.

Early Christmas present from The Bunch. Get your bars up.

Boldstar* Gila Boot
Boldstar* used a unique structure detail so the boot is double layered with the suede hanging over the leather. Soft gray napa leather and suede for a very clean mono look. The contrast of materials works amazingly well.
The off white matte vulcanized sole unit matches the off white cotton lace. The shoe is fully leather lined inside.

Osborne Cox (John Malkovich) is a CIA analyst who quits his job at the agency after being demoted, ostensibly because of a drinking problem. He then decides to write a memoir about his life in the CIA. His wife, pediatrician Katie Cox (Tilda Swinton), wants to divorce Osborne and, at the counsel of her divorce lawyer, she copies many of his personal and financial files off his computer and onto a compact disc. The lawyer’s receptionist accidentally leaves the disc at Hardbodies, a health club. After her husband is served with divorce papers, Katie puts all of his belongings out in the street and changes the locks to keep him out of their house.
Two employees of the gym, Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt) and Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand) obtain the disc from the gym’s custodian. Seeing the content of the memoir, they assume that it is highly classified information. Initially Chad and Linda plan to give the disk back to Osborne hoping for a reward, intending to use the money to pay for Linda’s cosmetic surgery. However, after a confusing phone conversation and fury on Osborne’s part, their original plan descends into a blackmail attempt. Chad meets Osborne, who, aware that the “information” is merely his memoirs, refuses to pay and punches Chad in the nose. Linda decides to take the information to the Russian embassy. At the embassy, she hands the disk over to the Russians, promising that she will give more information afterward. Because they don’t actually have any more information, they decide to break into Osborne’s house to steal more.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Two greats one movie. Not Oceans great, but definitely worth the viewing time.
