The man who inhabits THH70′s identity was born in 1970, but inspired by George Lucas’s “THX-1138″, the identity of this multimedia artist and creator of AOA was officially born in 1995.

THH70′s paintings are born of the basic, primal urge of metropolitan aesthetics. Influenced by artists Cy Twombly, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Rauschenberg and William S. Burroughs.

THH70 creates messages with illustrations, spray paint, household chemicals and scrawl, layered on crude but painterly ground. Reoccurring messages in the work of THH70 accredit ’70′s and ’80′s pop culture, drug references and a modern-day spin on words and phrases, but the work as a whole takes form of stream-of-consciousness as it hits the canvas.

Having sold over 1300 paintings since the coronation of his art career in 2000, his paintings hang in private and corporate collections across the United States, Europe, Canada, and Asia.
