The Power Laces Are Among Us

August 31st, 2010

So, If you follow me on Twitter, you know that the Marty McFly Power Lacing kicks from BTF II are coming closer to becoming a reality. Below is a very sexy video that made me shed a tear of joy (Yeah, so what?)
Take a look at how they turned a pair of Pastry kicks into a lovely pair of footwear. After watching it, I can’t wait for 2015…

Power Laces 2.0 Prototype

You can support the movement by helping the manufacturer raise enough to put kicks like this on the shelves.

Fresh Kicks Friday

August 27th, 2010

K Swiss

I haven’t showed off a good running kick in a good while. Now, even though in some places wearing K-Swiss is frowned upon nowadays (Chicago), I actually find these pretty fresh. It’s probably the tubes, you know with Kenny Powers being the spokesman for the kicks, you can’t help but to find them, dare I say…cool? Either way, whether you find them revolting or outstanding, they are available now….”For the runner in you.”

Denis Zilber

Denis Zilber is an illustrator, and design artist from Tel Aviv, Israel. His talent in illustration comes at us in various forms, from cartoon-like drawings to digital design animation. Zilber’s art mainly comes from commercial contracts such as the UK Jewish Film Festival and the various movie posters that needed covers. His work has a grasp of satirical humour while maintaining a serious level of purity and dignity in his art. This is fantastic work from this Israeli artist.
